[Character name] Tim Drake (Robin)

[Point in time taken from canon] Post Season 2 Episode 7
[Background]

http://youngjustice.wikia.com/wiki/Robin#History (Young Justice Animated)
Not much of his Young Justice background is known as of yet. But with the series seemingly keeping true to some of the comic origins, it can be assumed that there are some similarities in how Tim become Robin. This might be backed up in 2x01 when Nightwing stressed to him to not die, which many comic fans believe may be a reference to Jason Todd’s (Robin II) death. However, it could also be a reference to Tula’s (Aquagirl) death.
In the comics: After the death of Jason Todd (Robin II), Tim came to Bruce with the knowledge that he was, in fact, Batman. In the aftermath of the death, with Robin I also estranged from him, Batman was on a dark rampage against the criminal elements of Gotham. Tim, having realized that it was a matter of time before Batman ended up killing someone, attempted to get Dick to reconcile with him to give him an anchor, firmly believing that Batman absolutely needed a Robin. After a series of events, Bruce allowed Tim to become the next Robin.
Given that the existence of Jason in Young Justice is unconfirmed at this point, it is hard to say how much of Tim’s original background will be incorporated.
[Personality]
Tim Drake is a much more serious and quiet Robin when compared to the first. He has yet to be shown out of costume, or in downtime with the team, so it is unknown if he acts the same way as a civilian. However, there is a high possibility that he adopts a more relaxed manner, or at least drops some of his intensity, when out of costume due to fact that everyone seems comfortable with him.
As Robin, Tim is very focused on the mission at hand. However, outside of that, he comes across as a modest, if somewhat socially awkward, person. In Episode 1, after he acted as support for Superboy, the first thing he does when arriving at based is to report to Nightwing, despite the fact that he would already know from monitoring communications. When complimented for a job well done, his response was, “I didn’t do much, I just--” Another example of his modesty is when Superboy said, “Distraction went off as planned Robin. Thanks.” “Just happy it worked.”
Later on in the episode, Tim was selected as squad leader. While en route, both of his teammates were idly chatting and bantering with each other. Tim made no attempt to join in, but at the same does not discourage it, not even later on when it was happening in the midst of battle. As a whole, he really doesn’t say more than needed, yet other members are comfortable enough to joke with him even if he doesn’t respond or make any motion to acknowledge them.
Despite being a mission driven person, Tim is shown to care deeply for other’s lives. When faced with the decision to escape from an timed bomb with his squad or take the chance as rescue hostages, Tim strongly felt that the risk was absolutely necessary. Later when emerging from the water that served as their escape route, the first thing Tim did was do a headcount, calling for his missing teammate when he found that they were one short. Tim doesn’t seem to smile much, but he did when the other surfaced with no problems.
Tim is a natural leader, even during his first time in such a role. Highly intelligent, he is quick to make calls in field without second guesses. One example of this is adeptly using/placing teammates in different positions in different scenarios. Both he and Blue Beetle could act as close range fighters or long range support, yet he, as a human relying on finite supplies, placed Blue Beetle (whose costume creates weapons as needed) as a long range, aerial support for the squad. However, when they needed to clear a path, Tim opted to have Blue Beetle do it as opposed to their other teammate, mostly likely due to Blue Beetle’s armor and speed.
This shows that he knows the strength and weakness of most likely all the members of the team, and possibly the Justice League as well. Given there was no briefing or notice that he was going to lead a squad or who that squad will be until the very last minute, he’d probably been paying attention to his teammates. Armed with that knowledge, he doesn’t waste time trying to do anything that he knows the others are better suited for.
Though he is capable quick decisions that are not rash in any form, when off field he prefers to watch and listen before making judgements. For example when Bart was first introduced, “You’re a tourist. From the future?” He doesn’t accept or deny it, but from his face, it could be clearly seen that he was calculating the odds of Bart actually telling the truth in his head.
Despite being a natural leader, he is obedient to his superiors, but also questions them when he has doubts about the decision. This happened in Episode 1 when he was appointed as squad leader for the first time. Most of the discontent stemmed from his uncertainty over the arrangement and the knowledge that he was only in that position because of how stretched thin both the Justice League and Young Justice was. In the end, he went with Nightwing’s decision knowing that despite his own misgivings it was necessary.
[Abilities]
http://youngjustice.wikia.com/wiki/Robin#Powers_and_abilities
For a Bat, Tim doesn’t seem to really use the explosive batarangs much, instead preferring electrified weapons. Even his batarangs are electrified.
As his skill set is rather well rounded, he can play just about any role. He has shown being a long range hit and run decoy, being a decoy in plain sight, and a close range fighter. Tim is good with keeping track of the locations of teammates and can wordlessly coordinate with the other Bats.

[First Person]
If someone provoked or attacked you, what would you do?
[Fight back and subdue them] Run I guess, maybe call the police after. I don’t feel that I am easily provoked however.
If you could have any super ability, what would it be and why?
I don’t need a super ability, I have all I need in my [arsenal] life already. Though if I really had to pick one, a hammer space to store infinite amount of [equipment] random things in would be nice.
You are a given a mission. Would you complete it effectively or would you goof off and do something else? Expand a little on the response.
[That’s rather close to home...] A mission? I’m not sure what you exactly mean by that, but I’d completely it effectively if I could.
You see a bloody knife on the floor. What do you do or think?
That there is a bloody knife on the floor and that someone might be hurt. I’d call the police see if I could find them and get them help. [Or take the knife and get it analyzed for data if it happened on a mission.]
You have two options: either save your friend who is hanging from a cliff, or chase after the bad guy who put them in a position. If you choose the former, the bad guy will get away and it will be hard to catch him. If you choose the latter, the cliff will crumble and the friend will fall to the spiky rocks below. What do you do and why?
I’d save my friend of course. Not sure what a kid like me could do against a criminal. [There’s always other chances to catch them.]
You're asked to take someone out for a date. Do you agree? If so, describe what you would do. If not, tell why.
It would depend on who’s asking. If it’s someone I know that’s asking, I’ll say yes since usually there would be a good reason for it. I’d say no to anyone else though.
You discover someone stalking you. Do you call the police or deal with it yourself?
I’d call [Batman] the police. Given that I’m the heir to a wealthy family, they’ll most likely have.. unsavory interests. [Or if it’s Robin they’re stalking, I’d subdue them after calling Batman or the squad leader.]
Would you prefer being the stalker, or the one being stalked? And what would you do?
The stalker I suppose. It’s... safer than being the one being stalked. As the stalker I’d have all the information on what’s going on. I’m not sure what’d I’d do though. Why would I even be stalking them? [Information gathering most likely. Recon missions are standard procedure.]
[Third Person]
You find yourself on a robot unicorn. What do you do?
Tim found himself on a robot unicorn. At least he assumed it was a robot, it could have been a highly detailed statue of a unicorn with fake circuitry embedded inside.
Yeah.. that was kind of unlikely, though not completely impossible.
In any case, this... was not normal as he had no reason to be on a robot unicorn. Backtracking through his memories gave no hint as to why he was in this position either, seeing as his last action had been to head to bed after the team gathered together to mourn Artemis.
Tim dimly noted that he was dressed as Robin, which is good because that means he has his equipment, but also raises the question of who would kidnap him from bed, change him into Robin, and then proceed to leave him on a unicorn of all things.
The origins of the unicorn could be a clue. Does he know anyone that would build a robot unicorn and is connected to the underground? Toyman comes to mind, but he wasn’t someone that knows of the existence of Tim Drake. There was the possibility of a leak but-- Tim frowned.
Gather the data first Drake. Consider the hows and whys later. Priority right now is to assess threat level. Was the act of being moved an action by friend or foe? Before joining The Team, ‘foe’ was the obvious answer, however these days it was just as likely this is a prank.
For now, that question was inconclusive until more data has been found and examined.
Glancing around the room, Tim frowned the medieval atmosphere. Great, more questions. Where in the world would someone find a highly advanced piece of technology located in a homely looking cottage. There was were a few piece of technology that seemed modern lying scattered around, none that looked too out of place unlike the robot he was one. One of them was a cell phone that seemed identical to a Blackberry. Without a logo.
Curiouser and curiouser.
Tim scrolled through the contacts, his eyes widening as his recognized the civilian names of a few members of the Justice League and The Team.
Well... the quickest way to have questions answered was to ask... Tim scrolled back through the contacts and pressed ‘call’.
[Why do you want to play this character in Somarium?] Cause smart is the new sexy. Even if they are 14 years.
[Which rule was your favorite and why?] The same one that was chosen last time.
[Where did you hear about Somarium?] A person Enny and Gin are trying to get to come back to Som.
[Any questions?] Nope!
